Raiyaan Shingati

Raiyaan is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Transition VC. He has experience of a decade in the Private Equity & Venture Capital. He is actively on a mission to address Climate Crisis the world is facing & doing his bit to accelerate India's goal to reach Net Zero. Raiyaan is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India & Bachelor of commerce from Jain university. He also holds a diploma in general management from Jain university.

Mohammed Shoeb Ali

Shoeb is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Transition VC. He is a seasoned investment professional with experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, and deal execution. Shoeb has worked at various organizations in the investment and financial advisory space.

Shantanu Chaturvedi

Shantanu is an experienced Innovator with a demonstrated history of working in the startup ecosystem. His core competencies lie in scaling early-stage ventures, technology development roadmap, facilitation, and innovation consulting. He is a strong technologist with vast experience in evaluating technologies from the startup perspective in various verticals – EV, renewables, IoT/IIoT, Agritech, and others. He is an expert in acquiring robust market-ready technologies from a concept level, and scaling them in the market.

Gaurav Patil

Gaurav has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and MTech in Thermal Systems from IIT Madras. He has worked with start-ups like The ePlane Company, Hero Motorcorps, Orangewood Labs, Allo Batteries and participated in building a sustainable future. Prior to joining Transition VC, he worked at Groww as an Associate Product Manager, built products enabling growth for the next 50mn Indians. His interest lies in making nation energy independent and is passionate about renewable energy, battery technology, green hydrogen and other cutting edge tech developments. Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys playing badminton and cricket. He is also an avid follower of Formula1.”

Parth Saxena

Parth graduated from NMIMS with an undergrad degree in Business Administration in Finance in the year of 2022. He was a member of the founding team of an ed tech start up, prior to starting his career in the world of Venture Capital. Parth wants India to shift towards renewable energy.

Prachi Goyal

Prachi has previously worked at PwC as a Tax associate for over 1.5 years. She completed her Master of Business Administration from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad in 2021. In addition to intellectual pursuits, she indulges in movies and relishes her daily dose of coffee, while conscientiously incorporating physical exercise into her daily
regime.

Abhinaya Venkatesh

Abhinaya has previously worked at PriceWaterhouse & Co CA LLP for 3 years. She has worked extensively in statutory and tax audits, limited reviews and business process understandings as part of audit engagements. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce from Christ University in 2019.

Anju Negi

Anju holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from PES University. She has previously interned at Orb Energy – A vertically integrated solar energy company and CoCreate Ventures – an Idea-stage VC fund that primarily focuses on Campus Entrepreneurs. She is deeply interested in clean tech and the startup ecosystem and intends to play an active role in creating a sustainable and clean future.

Mustafa Wajid

Mustafa Wajid is the Managing Director & CEO of MEHER Group, with 37 years of experience in Technology & Engineering. He has built leadership positions in Power Engineering and E-Mobility. He was instrumental in building the first capacitor in India and mentors startups in the Energy & Mobility space. He is an active member of IEEE, involved in government planning & policy, and is a mentor for the Engineer Infinite program of IEEMA. Mustafa chairs the IEEE’s LVDC Forum, India, and The IET’s Communities Committee – South Asia.

Tejas Goenka

Tejas Goenka is the Managing Director at Tally Solutions, working to make a connected business environment a reality for small and medium businesses. He is expanding Tally’s reach beyond India to the Middle East, Africa, and South-East Asia. Tejas led Tally’s transition into the GST era with enhanced product capability, taking Tally to a 2 million+ license base. He joined Tally in 2011 and is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rajesh Doshi

Rajesh Doshi is the Managing Director of STEER Advisors with over 20 years of experience in fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, legal and regulatory affairs, and industry consolidations for large PE. He has worked across various sectors including EV, healthcare, pharma, industrials, telecom, and media. Rajesh has rich experience in M&A transactions and P.E./V.C. investments in India and abroad, having worked with leading Indian business groups such as Crompton Greaves, Reliance Industries, Future Capital Holdings, and Religare Enterprises. He has led transactions across diverse sectors in deals ranging from US $ 250 Mn to US $ 650 Mn, representing both corporate and private equity investors.

Saif Qureishi

Saif Qureishi is the CEO & MD of KRYFS Power Components Ltd and the Chairman of IEEMA – Laminations division. He has over 34 years of experience in the Electrical equipment and components industry and is known for his leadership position in the Transformer Core Industry. He is also an active Rotarian and author with over 500 columns in BT. KRYFS is one of the largest importers and processors of CRGO Steel and has a strategic investment from Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

Naresh V Narasimhan

Naresh V narasimhan is the Managing Partner at VA – Venkataramanan Associates, a Bangalore-based architecture firm known for designing benchmark projects since 1969. He is an architect (B Arch 1985) and a Harvard alumnus (1995). Naresh founded the MOD Institute, an action-oriented think tank, and is a trustee of Suchitra Cinema & Cultural Academy. His interests include politics, governance, communication strategies, cinema, art, and popular culture.

Anuj Khanna

Anuj Khanna was born and raised in New Delhi and did his schooling from Modern School, New Delhi. He has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Currently he is pursuing an Executive Master’s degree in Management of Energy from BI Business School in Oslo.

Mr. Khanna has worked at C&S Electric Ltd. for 22 years in various capacities and has been part of the leadership team of the family business for the last 12 years in the capacity of Managing Director. He has worked with and led several business units within the company. His experience spans electromechanical and electronic products, standard components and customized project solutions, Indian and export markets, domestic and overseas manufacturing, mature businesses and greenfield ventures. At the Corporate level he has been involved in initiatives in fund raising, treasury control, project evaluations, joint-ventures, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring.

During this tenure, his interactions with various customers and policy makers from infrastructure and energy segments developed his interest in network industries and energy transition. He is a keen follower of energy transition policies and smart city initiatives, and the associated innovations in business models and product technology related to these fields.

Mr. Khanna has been a member of EO (Entrepreneur’s Organization), has headed the Western U.P. office of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries), and has headed CII’s Northern Region Energy Committee. He is an avid traveler, reader, start-up investor and adventure sports enthusiast.

C&S Electric Ltd has been a leading Indian electrical engineering company supplying products and systems for power generation, distribution and consumption systems. Post the divestment of C&S Electric Ltd by the Khanna family to Siemens Ltd. in 2021, Mr. Anuj Khanna continues as a Shareholder and Managing Director of Trimaster Pvt Ltd., which contains businesses retained by the Khanna family.

Dr. Ingolf Gröning has over 26 years of experience in electric drives and controls, with more than 20 years leading the development of electric machines and drives for various industrial, automotive and non-automotive branches. Ingolf is a lecturer at different universities and supports several companies as advisory board member.
